( the cat ) I tried everything for 2 weeks, I nearly scrub ed all the material pattern of the sofa, but could still smell it. Try a solution of white vinegar and water. Test it on a out-of-sight piece of the rug first! Its about $10 a bottle, it has a yellow and green label, just read the instructions, its the best stuff for the smell.
